Google AdSense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant Google ads on their website's content pages and earn money. Because the ads are related to what your visitors are looking for on your site, or matched to the characteristics and interests of the visitors your content attracts, you'll finally have a way to both monetize and enhance your content pages. It's also a way for website publishers to provide Google web and site search to their visitors, and to earn money by displaying Google ads on the search results pages.

To participate in the Google Adsense program, you will first need to sign up an Adsense account by clicking on the banner graphic shown below.

After you have signed up, you will need to generate Adsense codes to be placed on your website. As a guide, it is best to place the ad codes in the most visible places where visitors would see the ads and click on it.

If your website is brand new, Google may have to crawl your page's content before they know what kinds of ads to send your way -­ this can take up to a few hours, but usually occurs within minutes. Once their crawler has visited your page, you should see ads that are highly targeted to your content.

Your challenge would be to send as much traffic as you can to your web page that contains the Adsense ads so as to maximise the number of visitor clicks on the Adsense links. Be careful not to cheat the system by generating clicks on the ads, you will get your account terminated pretty quickly as Google had put in anti-fraud measures to prevent click frauds.

Google will send your payment within approximately 30 days of the end of each calendar month that Google ads are running on your site if your earned balance is US $100 or more. If your account balance is less than $100, we'll send your payment approximately 30 days after the first month that your balance reaches $100.
